Tuesday Pool League

Monday Pool

I'd like to continue the Tuesday summer league format into a winter league. It would be like the summer league, but with an extra player and the last set would be doubles. My idea is for 6 players per team, playing 2 sets of 6 singles and 1 set of 6 doubles, for a total of 18 games per night. Players can play up to 4 games per night (2 singles and 2 doubles). Rules would be pretty much the summer rules (which are very similar to the Monday rules). No banquet or anything, just a straight forward money league, with a bar plaque for 1st place.
If there's enough interest in this, I'll hold a meeting in September at Fountain House, Rt 94, Fredon, NJ. You *MUST* contact me if your interested in playing so I know and can start setting things up.

General ideas:
- 8:00 PM start time
- 6 players required. 2 sets of 6 singles and 1 set of 6 doubles. 18 games total per night. A player can be in 2 singles and 2 doubles for a total of 4 games.
- 2 points per set, and 2 points for most games won that night for a total of 8 match points per night.
- basically the same rules as the Monday winter and Tuesday summer leagues
- Money only league the same as the summer, but with just a bar plaque for 1st place
- $50 player dues. $100 per team sponsor fee. No drink or food requirements. Bars to treat players like their regular customers. No "free" player included with sponsor fee.
- Officer(s) pay and expenses to be determined and documented.
- all money to be paid out at end of season.
